Obama Scare Tactics
Reuters is reporting that at President Obama's rally for health care reform on
September 12, the President said: "We've heard scare tactics instead of honest
debate"

But from which side? As Reuters reports that the President encouraged the crowd in Minnesota
not to pay attention to "scary stories" about cuts in care, it's worth noting the
President's own words in his address to Congress just a few days earlier:
"Everyone in this room knows what will happen if we do nothing. Our deficit will
grow. More families will go bankrupt. More businesses will close. More Americans
will lose their coverage when they are sick and need it most. And more will die
as a result. We know these things to be true"

We do? Are Obama's words to Congress also "scare tactics", or are such inflammatory
remarks only scare tactics when they're in opposition to the President's plan?
